Week1 B: Social Media Use Today

Since I am from an older generation than most students here I can tell you I have seen a growth exponentially how social media is use. At the beginning of social media with MySpace followed by Facebook it seemed that it was focused on entertainment and for the younger demographics. Jump forward ten years and social media has blown up into every aspects of our life. It now seems that no one can go an hour, mush less a day, without some form of social media platform influence. Week 2 Part A: Communication Between Business & Consumer

 I think the internet has given more clarity and transparency to businesses and what they stand for. We can now communicate with businesses through their websites, chats, email, phone, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and other social media platforms. Overall the biggest gain in my opinion is transparency. Unfortunately some of the information is not reliable. From my experience there are many services available from countries like India, Pakistan, and the Philippines who offer bot review services. Many reviews are not real and many companies and products have because they hire these services. Seeing reviews is not a clear answer, but we must do our due diligence and follow those review past to see if they are legitimate.
