Since I am from an older generation than most students here I can tell you I have seen a growth exponentially how social media is use. At the beginning of social media with MySpace followed by Facebook it seemed that it was focused on entertainment and for the younger demographics. Jump forward ten years and social media has blown up into every aspects of our life. It now seems that no one can go an hour, mush less a day, without some form of social media platform influence. As social media has evolutionized so has humanity alongside it. Now we have grown dependent on it on all aspects of our life. With this need to be connected with others so have businesses used the opportunity to grow. While every new social media platform starts as some sort of "new" entertainment that previous platforms don't have or have evolved out of. My aim was to select a Blog Theme and Template that I felt would define me. The best I could find was this one which contains a background image that looks like code on a computer screen. I feel that this theme really defines a huge aspect of who I am. I love everything there is in the tech industry. Even If I have no use for it or interest, the actual creation of all new tech really interests me. I am 47 years old and I witnessed the creation of the fax machine, the personal computer, the pager/beeper, the cellular phone, and to this date endless of amazing gadgets. Therefore, I feel this theme best describes me. For some reason I cannot get this background to work and doesn't actually show up.
